I know this gets asked on here like every ten seconds but i don't feel right. i am on the pill taking it faithfully and i use a condom every time. however i don't feel right. my period is abnormal, i'm nauseous, i have a constant headache that no amount of tylenol or motrin can kill, and i'm just plain tired no matter how much sleep i get or what i do. should i take a pregnancy test or am i stupid to worry? have you ever gotten pregnant while on the pill and using condoms?? will the pill hurt my baby if i am pregnant?

Okay to start off with, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A STUPID QUESTION, THE ONLY STUPIDITY IS NOT EVER ASKING". You have every right to be worried, this is your body your talking about. Its not like if you wreck this one your insurance will provide you with a loner untill they can fix the original. LOL! If you are not feeling good and you have symptoms, you should contact you Dr. right away. Yes you can get pregnant on the pill and even if you use a condom. Yes there are issues with being on the pill and being pregnant, it can be harmful to the fetus. You could take a home pregnancy test, and find out if you are or not. No matter what the results are, you should still go see your Dr. One factor is your endless headaches, and the amount of over the counter aides your trying, to help yourself. Nothing wrong with trying to fix ourselves with out running to the doc every time we get an ache, but how much, is too much? With all the warnings about to much meds actually being more harmful then helpful, we have to ask ourselves, when is when? Another aspect of the pill, is that its not for everyone. You may be having a side affect, your body is trying to reject it. You sound like a very smart lady and generally concerned for you well being. From one female to another, please take my advice and be seen. This could be something minor, or something more serious. If there is something off, the earlier you know the earlier you can take care of it and start feeling better. Life is just to short as it is, to go on feeling like crap. I wish you well dear, and will pray for your health. CJPB

Dont take the pill today! Go get a pregnancy test. If you are pregnant and you are taking the pill who knows how the baby will turn out when its born. You DEFINATELY have the symptoms. Its better to get a test and not be pregnant than to risk harming the baby while taking the pill. I admit it would be hard to get pregnant on the pill and using condoms but its still better to be safe than sorry. If you are pregnant you want a healthy baby.

hey girl, I think you should take a pregnancy test just to be sure. I couldnt remember to take the pill everyday so you should really be careful with missing and doubling up. Also it could just be in your head which i thought i was pregnant and wasnt but i had every sympton possible stomach was even bloated. I wouldnt rest until i took a test.

I will also advise to be tested for blood clots, too, esp if you are over 35 and/or smoke.

Yes, the pill can harm a prenatal baby if taken while pregnant.

actually you may need to talk with you GYN about changing to another brand....

I had wierd side effects with one once and I changed and was fine after that.

Our bodies are so strange...especially women.

Check with your MD for a complete blood test...one that reveals more than pregnancy...complete blood panel....
