My poor husband has Fred Flintstone feet and shoes are so uncomfortable because he needs extra wide. We have a really hard time finding them and think we might have to order them online. Any suggestions? (oh, and we live in California in case you're going to suggest a particular store to visit)

Any department store can order them if they don't carry them in stock. The same goes for any good shoe store. The hard thing is not the store, but which brands make extra wide shoes. You can go through your local yellow pages, call the stores and ask if they carry extra wide widths, and if they do, see if they are special order only or not. I have good luck finding shoes for my husband at JC Penney. If you can't find them locally, then most on line stores carry them.

Justin brand shoes they are most famous forr their boots but they make other shoes too! also sometimes my dad finds some for his 13 E feet in the king size magazines!

why do't you buy him Ethnies or vans? they are usually pretty wide. My 4 year old has really wide- flat and long feet. Vans are good for these kidn of feet
