what is the womens rights when in a divorce situation in the first year my friend was told by her ex that she was not allowed to see anyone else until after one year, there is property involved no children. and her ex says she has to keep in communication cause of the property she feels like he is controlling her cause he stilil calls and gets mad at her if she does not answer grrrr any answers

The law requires a seperation prior to granting a divorce. This is a seperation leading to divorce, there is no reason why she can't see someone else. I believe also that with no children the seperation is only 6 months not 1 year. Sounds like she needs to get an attorney of her own to advise her, I wouldn't rely on the ex.
