Blood, the principal ingredient in this, supplies the tissues with nourishment, and may therefore offer decent quantities of nutrients including iron and B vitamins. The oats found in it might provide some useful fibre too.

Pregnant women are advised to try to avoid eating too much vitamin A as it is thought it may lead to birth defects so try to avoid eating too much liver or kidney or vitamin supplements with A in them. If you enjoy it - tuck in - it's only doing you good. I think you either love it or hate it - I love it!

Cannot think why it would cause any problems, its made from blood, fat and spices and has excellent food value. If you can eat red meat then you not increasing any risk by eating black pudding.

Unsure check this with a midwife if properly cooked maybe ok, Full of iron as I was advised to eat this when anemic so maybe good but plz check out

Yes you can as long as it's thoroughly cooked. I love black pudding and asked both my midwife and my GP. They said it was OK.

If in doubt leave it out , thats what i always tell myself . Me personally , i wouldn`t eat it whilst pregnant .

im not compleatly sure, but im sure it was on a list of things that i shudnt eat that my midwife gave me. To be sure, i would ask your midwife b4 eating any.
