I was told that I had sciatic pain during my 10th week. I wasn't even showing yet, but my doctor said it was normal as well. The pain got so bad during my first trimester that it was hard for me to walk. One night, my husband had to literally carry me to bed. Then next day, the pain was still there and then went away. Now that I'm in my 27th week, I feel like the pain is coming back, but now it's also affecting my tailbone. I sit at work all day and it doesn't help.
Good luck!

I had very bad pain in my pelvic area around the same time. My stomach killed too. It's normal, your body is just getting used to carrying a baby, especially twins. I would also get very bad leg cramps. Make sure you walk a lot, and when you're sitting keep your legs elevated, and try sleeping with a pillow in between your legs. This helped me a lot

I'm virtually nine weeks now and the cramping is eventually beginning to subside. I might get the ones sharp pains in my facets and a few moderate "interval" style cramping during the day. It's traditional. Just be certain to stick hydrated and do not overdo it. Good Luck

I experienced it in the first 3 mo. I felt like i was on my period only not as bad. So it is normal.. After the 3 mo. I was fine... If it gets worse get it checked out... I am not trying to scare you but, my first pregnancy ended up in a misscarriage and i had lots of cramps... Just incase it gets worse

I had cramps so bad I kept telling my husband I was getting my period the next week... oh, well it'll be next week for sure, and so on.
When I talked to my doctor they said it was quite normal due to the uturus stretching. My cramps seem to be on and off now and don't seem to happen quite as often.

your uterus is growing faster than a women that is carrying just 1 fetus....it is most likely your round ligament pulling or pressure on the sciatic nerve..just try taking a warm bath when in pain and take a Tylenol
