ok I don't believe we should have a woman in charge of high offices, i.e president, speaker of the house, senate or congress, I believe there are places for us but not those specific places. Is there any one out there who feels the same way man or woman mainly woman. can't wait to see the reactions!

My sister's got a total laugh of a line where she argues that women shouldn't have the vote whenever she gets a feminist idiot to wind up. I laughed until my sides hurt!!!

I understand "what" you're saying, but I don't totally agree with it. I think if we could pick a female President, it should be Rice. She is level headed, calm, doesn't say or do anything she doesn't mean, and I believe our country would be in better condition than it has been in a long time. No offence to President Bush. However, I "don't" think women should do actuall fighting in our wars, because I believe God put a different "type" of compassion
in us which could get a lot of people killed, should that "compassion" kick in at the wrong time! Yeah, I'm sure there are women out there reading this who will no doubt cuss me up & down the wall! Oh well, I am honest will how I feel, and "that's" how I feel.

It is a great thing! Look at how fabulous Hillary Clinton is doing! There is a good leader. How about the NEW Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Women have been good leaders throughout the world and through time! Look at all of the great women just found in the Holy Bible!
I am a man! And, I respect women to reach for their full potential, as God created you to do! You can choose to do what you want! God created you with that ability!

It is such a shame you belittle women, especially being that you are a woman. I thought that gender was less of a disparity these days, but after seeing how some attacked Nancy Pelosi for her gender I see that society really hasn't evolved. People like you have become indoctrinated with the notion that women are just incapable.
What is it exactly that makes you think women have no role in high position govenance?
Because "the first gentleman" sounds funny?! By goodness! What is this society coming to?!
Also, a point made above in reference to Tatcher: To further that, a great woman leader is seen in Queen Elizabeth I.

Absolutely nothing wrong with a woman who chooses to remain at home but to say that women are not capable means you obviously haven't heard of Margaret Thatcher, former Prime Minister of England, and others who have led governments well. Women suffered for years as second class citizens for no other reason than their gender and you honestly feel that is okay. Unreal...

Definetely. I am not a sexist or anything, but I do believe that certain postitions should not be held by a woman. AND their are probably some positions men should not have. Women have certain capacities to handle some things, and men have the capacity to handle other things. Like women in combat, I disagree with. Men are better suited IMHO. But I don't care if they are, as long as they are shooting at the emeny, so be it.

That's right what you say... But I still think everyone has the chance to be whatever they like.. Still, there are many jobs that women cant fill till today inspite of the high percentage of women in each society, I mean.. hey there are still men in the world...right? And they should take up the responsibility for us!

You are right and I agree with you men and women are very different each is good a different things. I think that maybe you have been reading your bible and read that women should submit to their husbands. I don't think that women should be allowed in the military under any circumstances. but I don't have any problem with women serving in the government though.
