Good Question.
Something I asked myself.
I think it's cause you get to see so many questions, sometimes something I hadn't thought about, or gets my head working "The Aquarius in me" about ideas for myself to try, or ask myself about, it gets my head working.
NO it don't bother me that someone may ask what is considered by most to be an idiotic question.. to some that may be just what was needed for the day. Just another thing in my book to get my head wondering about where they are really coming from. LOL
spelling don't matter to me, some people just are not good typers,"spelling" some are bad at spelling, thats just what makes the world go round.

There's no "reward" here.
If you're an American, you can get actually rewarded for helping people at ChaCha.
They pay you to be an Internet Guide and Counsellor there.
I do that, myself.
Yahoo Answers as a Forum, is not really so good; because I find more jerks come in here than anything else.
I've surfed through here for about an hour and I saw some people who'd been downright rude to a young lady who just anounced that tomorrow would be her birthday!? I wished her Many Happy Returns and asked her not to bother with those jerks.
I've seen three Muslims praising their Islam and running down Christianity.
I saw a lady who'd asked about India and Indians, because she'd be soon going there, and I keep going there often to work on my Projects there and in Singapore and I couldn't believe the crap that the same Muslims, that I'd seen earlier, were dishing out to her in their hate speeches about Hindus!? I just told her my experiences and let her be the best judge.
I just drop by once in a while and, frankly, don't stay too long.
I find that the Muslims seem to have the run of this place and they are very scary people.
Do check out ChaCha sometime. It's worth it. But, it's for Americans only and I know quite a lot of people who are averaging 200 to 300$ a day there. I'm not, because I don't spend too much time on the net.
Have a nice day.

First off, yes the terrible spelling and idiotic questions do get on my nerves a whole lot. But when I'm bored it's more rewarding to just go share my knowledge and help people out the best I can that say watch TV. I also find yahoo answers a good source for my own questions that I might have.

I enjoy YA a lot , I have a back injury so you guys keep me company while I recover .
If the question bothers me I skip it , simple as that .
I'm not a school teacher so as long as people get close I don't correct their spelling or grammer .
I do get a bit upset with the ones on here who think they are perfect and always point out everyone elses mistakes !

It's something to do when business is slow.
I'm not so anal about the little things such as spell check (of course, using insight as to the motive of the question), and if you see a question that is truly idiotic, all you have to do is not answer.
Simple as that.
Other than that, I do get answers that truly help on Yahoo.

Because I feel the need to get my feelings out there. Even if everyone's always harshin on the cheekymonkey for being obsessed with the Hooter's girls and asking bad questions. And if peeple need to kopy me, I guess that's okay, too.

You get gratification of serving to any one out and a couple of elements. Every query you reply is two elements, balloting will provide you one million factor and opting for BA will provide you 10 elements.
