Here in Tennessee we have a lot of ladybugs and now that the weather is cooling down they're starting to come inside. I live in an old house (i like older houses) and they've found ways to come in. What's a natural way to chase the buggers away without killing them? Don't want to resort to that unless i have to.

They are actually Asian beetles (probably brought to your area by organic farmers) and I fill a spray bottle with viniger and spray the windows and doorways, it is cheap and helps! Good luck!

Yes, you can vaccume them up!

What you are refering to is the Asian beetle. They are orange and nasty if you squish them! (smelly) Often they don't have dots like North American ladybugs, and they hibernate! They also bite, ouch!

Farmers have been using this breed because they are cheaper and hibernate, so many of them come back the next year to protect their crops. They essentially do the same job as regular ladybugs, but they are cheaper and renew themselves.

Lady bugs are good luck! However I guess that can be annoying. Make sure the house is sealed up as much as possible I guess.

Try catching them and returning them to the outdoors. That would be the only thing I can think of.

I heard that if you vaccum them that they can stink up your sweeper,so be sure to empty it right away.
