While I agree with the gift card idea, I would prefer to receive a Visa gift card. I have found several of the places I like to shop don't accept AmEx.

Why drive yourself crazy with so many things to buy? You should get EVERYONE an American Express gift card. They can use it for anything they might not get for Christmas. Why kill yourself over endless store crowds, rude people and no parking???
