Well-- the USA is not liberal again. It still is pretty well divided between conservatives and liberals.
Min wage **may** go up to $7 and change but so what?
College will NOT be free- in fact the cost of college education has been going up significantly over the past several years.
I'd be VERY surprised if some sort of universal or low cost health care program will come into play soon.
Patriot act will stay in place for the most part. Some parts may be repealed since they're a bit civil rights intrusive. But there are good parts to the ACT (e.g. intelligence agencies working together, ID requirements for accounts, etc.)
Tax cuts will not be deleted for the most part. We could see some change at the top 1-2% or so of wage earners though. It would be political suicide to repeal all those tax cuts-- especially for the middle class, and they've already said they won't. I'd frankly want them to leave it alone-- to keep taxes as is and to deny the R's from saying-- see they raised taxes. Not going to happen.

Yes! The minimum wage will rasie so that means everything else manufactured in America will also go up in price! Even more jobs will go over seas I can't wait! Universal health care is great then we can get put on a waiting list, and have to wait for someone in the government to o.k. when we get medical treatment like in Canada. Free College education? not sure what makes you think that. Maybe you're talking about Pell Grants which Bush increased last year. And I'm so glad the Patriot act will get deleted so is Osama Bin Laden he hated it. and the tax cuts are so stupid I mean who wants an extra $1200 in their pocket every year? The tax cuts gave me an extra $1200 in my pocket,and I hate it. It also means that business gets those tax breaks it especially helps small business, but who cares right? I mean people have no right to start their own business. It just screws things up for big business if they have competition. All hail Nancy Pelosi!

Free healthcare, I doubt it!
Free college education for everyone, I doubt it.
Minimum wage is raised to almost $8 an hour, and a big mac will also be raised to $5. Don't be absurd, the Libs won by a very marginal number in most states. It doesn't mean the country has gone liberal!

In Richard Nixon/Gerald Ford's sixth year in office in 1974, Republicans lost 43 House seats and three Senate seats.
During eight years of Clinton, Republicans picked up a total of 49 House seats and nine Senate seats in two midterm elections. Also, when Clinton won the presidency in 1992, his party actually lost 10 seats in the House -- only the second time in the 20th century that a party won the White House but lost seats in the House.
