some 1 has sent me a e.mail and attachments but 4 some reason i carnt get the pictures ,i hv clicked on download and nothing is happeing

You can try a few things.
1) Try saving the attachments - then open them
2) The attachments may be corrupt - ask the sender to resend
3) You have a firewall or some security blocking them - you have to try and find out if that is the case
4) Try accessing your email from another computer and see if you run into the same issue.

Ask them to send them again, if they were sent on to from a third party maybe your friend has only sent you the short cut and so there is nothing there to open, also if your friend has sent something that was made with Excel or PowerPoint and you do not have these programmes then you will not be able to read them

Try lowering your internet settings, if you have internet explorer and are currently using it, try to download and use the new Firefox 2.0 from www.download.com or the Mozilla website as it uses it's own downloading agent usually straight to your desktop.

Not certain whether you are using Yahoo or Outlook....., however, have you tried "right-clicking" the file & choosing "save as" ?

Dont open attatchments if you dont know where they come from ! it may contain a virus !
