My friend and I were talking and she said blondes are going to disappear. I asked why? She said because of interbreeding. I told her that impossible because not everybody is interbreeding. She said they can also be sleeping with brunettes. She told me the last blonde hair blue-eyed baby will born in finland in 200 years. I told her it's a hoax. I hsow her a wesbite that lists her country is one of the countries that believed the hoax. She asked me if that site was true. I told I don't if it is. I can't seem to convince so, I asking everyone if this is true.

IF IT ISN'T TRUE, STATE YOUR SOURCE AND REASONS.
here's the website I showed her.

I heard that, and I heard the same thing about Blue eyes. Most reputable sources say it is wrong, but it seems to make sense to me. Blonde hair and blue eyes are recessive traits and you'd think the dominant traits would eventually take over in the human race. That's evolution, right? But who knows. Science has been wrong before.

Here's the article by the BBC citing a German study:

But European Press is prone to repeating urban legends, so it should be noted that Snopes covers this from the opposite perspective.

There is some fear-mongering in Europe as they face significant immigration from the Middle-East and Africa. This might just be a ploy.

Based on Mendel's theories, the genes would never go away. But the number of blondes would probably be reduced.

I should note that I'm Brown/Brown, my father was 1/4 Lakota, and my son has blond/green, my daughter blonde/blue. So those hidden genes have a way of popping up when they're least expected.

I had a friend born in 1981 that had blond hair and blue eyes. Her sister was blond with blue eyes, born 2 years prior. They are not going extinct.

Probably not.
The existing blondes would have to stop having children, as would those who have some of the "blondness" genes.

Also -- blondness can occasionally show up as a mutation. Even in countries where there's been a strong taboo against blondes having children (China), blondes do show up.

It is not true. Whenever I come across something like this, I go to snopes.com.

Here is what they said on this subject.

If that were true we would eventually all be the same color....same hair, eyes, and skin. How much more proof do you need?
