Yes, nausea is normal. Some men have Couvade's syndrome (sympathy pains) and you can read more about it here.

My dad did that when my mom was pregnant with us. I think it's sweet.

I started getting sick around 6 1/2 to 7 weeks but at anytime it's normal. My advice would be to talk to other moms & read a lot about what to expect. See a Dr. too!

Are you counting 3 weeks and 5 days from your last period? If so you probably don't know you're pregnant yet.

Do you know for sure you are pregnant? If so, yes you can start to feel nauseous this early, especially if it's your first child. Fortunately, this should go away by the 10-12 week. Also, your boyfriend can experience sympathy symptoms as well. My fiance is having a harder time with this pregnancy than I am. LOL

Eating small meals that aren't spicy or greasy should help keep that feeling down. Sucking on sour altoids also helps. Keep some crackers at the side of your bed to nibble on when you wake up. There are a dozens more folk remedies, just go to Google and type in morning sickness. Hope this helps!!!

I guess you can feel like that at 3 weeks and 5 days. I always felt sick starting at around 6 weeks, and my husband never did what your describing. I am now pregnant with my 4th baby and I got sick at 6 weeks and that was really all the symptoms I had. But I was very sick 24/7 for 13 weeks. Everyone is different.

do you mean 5 weeks 5 days (remember that pregancy weeks are counted since the first day of your last menstrual period, which means one is pg two weeks before it actually happened...funny huh?) and yes, you could be throwing up by now. As long as your bf, some men experience some pg stuff....my husband haven't so far....he doesn't believe in that so I guess he'll never feel anything. Good luck

That is what first clued me in to the fact that I was pregnant with my first child. I woke up from sleeping and the smell of sausage cooking made me sick. I was probably about as far along as you are.
They say that men can have pregnancy symptoms too. I know my husband had weird cravings when I was pregnant, and he also put on weight. So, anything is possible.
Good luck to you!

Yes, to both. Morning sickness is caused by the rush of all the baby-making hormones and stuff. Get a lot of rest, eat a balanced diet and drink all the milk your body can handle. And, Yes, men can get morning sickness out of sympathy for you.

it's possible to have nausea as soon as 1 week after conception and yes I've heard of the man having the same symptoms too. Your best bet is to take a home preg test and see what it says...At three weeks and five days it should show up but if not take another one if you miss your next period...

3 weeks would be the time of ovulation and will not show that your pregnant yet...unless you are talking about your 3 weeks late for your period then you would be about 7-8 weeks....clear that up so you can get straight answers
