YES actually it could be. That is one of the indicators for women carrying twins, they run in my family, so the doctor told me different things to look for and what not before they did the ultrasound. But if you are thin framed, or very petite, you usually feel movements sooner because you have less layers of fat to "hide" the movements, or if you are petite, it's more likely the uterus doesn't grow quite as fast as the baby at first, leaving the baby cramped for room. They would beable to tell by hgc levels or by doing al ultrasound at this point. Good Luck!

Nope, it's not a sign. I think I was about 12 or 13 weeks along before I felt my baby. I could have been having movement sooner, but I just didn't realize it. It was my first so I didn't quite know what to wait for.

No not necessarily. I was the same and when I had my 12 weeks scan I could feel the baby flipping over. I could see her turning and moving on the screen, it felt really weird. I am only carrying one baby, now 6 months.
Good luck.xx

Babies/fetuses move very very early on but we just don't feel it because they are so tiny. How soon you can feel it depends on a few factors like your built.. tiny women tend to feel their babies move sooner than curvier women, I felt mine around 12 weeks and I only had 1 baby. Also people who have had other children normally can feel their babies earlier than new mothers to be. The only way to find out if you are having twins is through an ultrasound.

at 11 weeks your gyno should be able to do an ultra sound . I had my first ultrasound done two weeks ago , on my 7th week of pregnancy .The ultrasound showed I was having twins and their were two heartbeats . An ultrasound is the only positive way of knowing prior to the labour

I was told that 11 weeks you can't feel anything yet. When you reach about 13 weeks you can start feeling something. I am 16 weeks and haven't felt a thing yet. Although this is my first pregnancy and I don't know what to look for.
