talk to her and explain to her what she did. maybe she really didn't know. Now you know that after this talk it won't happen again. Just let her know what your religion is about and the certainthings that ar important to you.

STOP automatically asumimg that this was done in a malicious act against you and your religion...
I'm just about fed up with people being accused of being racist or dis respective of peoples religions and views... you know the only person here that seems to be making a big deal of it is YOU....
Suggest you realise that not everything and everyone is out to disrespect Ur dam race.. she probably didn't know what it was!!! and can i blame her........ no....
Grow up luv and stop being so melodramatic and insecure about your own dam religion... I know Ive had enough !! and so have millions of other people...

Confront her. She probably didn't recognise it as your hijab. Just hold it up to her and say. "Hi, did you know that this thing that you used to clean the shower with is actually my hijab?" She will probably be mortified. If she doesn't seem apologetic you could suggest that next time she wants to clean the shower perhaps she could use her evening dress instead.
It is odd that she hasn't appologised already, though, because her boyfriend has probably told her. You should still bring it up, though, just to clear the air.

It was an accident. Fine. But still talk to her about it. Just like these ignorant and disrespecting responses you got for your question....you should explain to her what a hijab is and i am sure she will understand and thank you for explaining it to her in a mature way. i dont even know what a hijab is...maybe she doesnt either...you cant expect people to respect your beliefs if you dont explain (not why you believe, but what you believe) at least some of them
