P Hill Auctions (search for them on Yahoo!) sell good guitars at excellent prices. They have the added advantage of being set up by expert technicians before they are shipped (unlike Guitar center). Of particular interest is their lineup of Mirage guitars.

There are music shops instruments. Check out a local "pawn shop" kind of place. Exchange places they call them. People sell their stuff for quick money and then the store turns around and sells it to someone else. I've gotten guns and bows, jewelry this way. A lot of times the stuff is like new. Check out your local newspapers or online ads.
