Life is unfair. The more you have to think and decide - the more you get paid. What you say is 100% true if you measure work in terms of physical effort. This is why Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are so rich - they use their minds - not their good looks or muscles.

In the US, very few who are born into poverty actually become wealthy. It is the Capitalist, Class Bias system we live in. The fact that this nation became an economic superpower in such a short time is greatly due to the fact that most pre-industrial revolution profit was gained by way of slavery. All productivity, no pay = high profit. It is ingrained into the parasitic corporate culture that they, the modern day plantation overseers deserve it all, while the actual workers should just be thankful for working for them. If you look at who becomes successful in this country, you will find, for the most part, they come from families that have been successful for generations. If you look even closer, you may discover some of these families are the direct beneficiary's of slavery. It is sad but for many, the American dream is just that, a nightmare. This is a Corporate controlled nation with a government designed for the benefit of the wealthiest few. There can never be justice, whether it be legal or economic, on stolen land.

Usually, the poor provide unskilled labor. As such, if they don't do that job, anyone else who wants to can and because they are poor, will. Rich people tend to have higher educations and provide skilled labor. If skilled labor walks out of a job, there often isn't anyone to replace them for a while. It's economics.
Likewise, the poor, tend to have problems paying their bills, and therefore have worse credit ratings. Companies don't give them a break, even though they need it, they charge them higher interest rates because it is a risky investment. Whereas the rich have enough money to pay their bills, so their interest rates are less and in turn their bills are less.
Seems unfair, but economically speaking what is unfair to some is fair to others.

I have to disagree with those that say life is unfair or unjust.
Some people choose to trade their time for an hourly wage. Others choose to be paid for their efforts. That is the difference between a rich and a poor mindset.
Many rich people were definately not born into wealth. They had to find it and didn't have the advantages we have today, like technology, eg. computers, where you can learn how to work for yourself, learn about creating leverage and building residual income. They had to do it all by themselves. But the difference is, they had the "drive" needed to choose between a rich life or a poor life. They didn't make excuses, they just took matters into their own hands and got to work bettering themselves.
The only way to earn what you are really worth is to get paid based on your results. You'll never get rich working on straight salary for someone else. If you're going to get a job, make sure you get paid on percentage, otherwise, go work for yourself.
If you are currently in a job and not being paid what you are worth based on the results you are producing, consider starting your own business. Personally, I believe just about everyone should own their own business, be it full time or part time. The first reason is that by far, the vast majority of millionaires became rich by being in their own business. Secondly, it's extremely difficult to create wealth when the tax man is grabbing almost half of everything you earn.
You can join a network marketing company. There are dozens of excellent ones, and they have in place all of the products and systems you need to get started immediately. For just a few bucks, you can become a distributor and have all the benefits of owning a business with few of the administrative hassles.
Network marketing can be a dynamite vehicle for wealth. You just need to have the desire to change what doesn't work for you and start earning what you are really worth.

Join the Tory party you soon learn.Thats why people went to the trouble of recording History. It is cheaper to work the poor into the ground than Invest in better equipment / facilities, research and development and the required reeducation. There are plenty of disposable poor and when they run out they can bring in plenty to replace them or take the work to them.Whichever way the rich stay rich.

a bit deep for on here mate
however, its to do with quantity & quality. the poor jobs tend to be the ones where the more you do the more money you make for your boss, therefore the more you get yourself - piece work being the optimum exponent of this principle.
the richer, tend to be in the position of not owrking in order just to live so can do the jobs where its more idea based. If you muck up you can lose your job, but if you dont need it you dont worry. whereas someone poorer couldnt have that luxury so wont take that kind of job, even though they can do it.
no-one siad it was fair, but its a fact

The statement is absolute rubbish.
Noone works harder for less pay. Also, its been proven in many studies that pay in fact only forms a very small motivation ofr employees to work hard - other factors such as a feeling of personal value within the business have far more impact.

This narrative is socially constructed, but also based off of looking at classes, which are also socially constructed. If you see this too, then it's time to look up the Burn Notice.

Life isn't fair and nothing is going to be handed to you. If you want something bad enough you can get it. If it is money you want just see yourself having money, imagine holding it in your hands. It will become your reality. So even the poor have a chance at life too.
