Look into Phoenix, AZ. To start with, it’s a “right to work” state meaning employers have much more power over the employees then they would in a unionized state.

Phoenix is becoming a huge retirement destination and as such, the medical field is growing exponentially. Every doctor’s office, hospital and health insurance company needs HR people. Since you have experience in that field, there should be plenty of opportunities available.

Phoenix is also the Call Center capital of the country. Having 5 years of experience in that area might also help get an HR position for one of these companies.

www.azcentral.com is the Web site for the local paper. Look it over and see what piques your interest.
