This actually happened in my inlaws family.

Aparently my M-I-L aunt was at a diner with a group of girl friends. Then, a group of young men walked in and started hitting on the girls. One guy spoke up as another was trying to get the phone # out of a young lady. "Hey, leave my fiancee alone." A small argument insued and they agreed to get married right there in the diner. 6 months later they were married, and are married to this day. Now, the marriage hasn't been easy, but marriage never is.

Personally, I wouldn't marry someone I didn't know.

When I got married to my husband I technically did not "know" him. We were only together for 9 months. We're still together and it has been almost 10 yrs. That doesn't mean it been all peaches and cream though.

Not right away, there is a time limit to do all things. Rushing into something is more likely to fail then something that is taken into consideration.

No, I am not aware of anyone who would want to put themselves throught that kinda hell. Marriage is hard enough when you know someone, let alone when you don't.
