conspiracy as usual

Is there any real way for a Republican to answer this question?

Can't tell you what the party is up to, but I am cautiously optimistic about our new leadership. Since most of the new Dems are moderate, I am more than willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. Are you just surprised that we're not screaming that the election was fixed? Would that make you happier?

And if you think for one second that the Democratic party isn't greedy and corrupt, you are very naive. Both parties are a mess. Let's just hope everyone can put their partisanship aside and really work together. Not going to hold my breath, but it could happen....

Chastened & humbled (or do those words mean the same thing). Finally willing to work with the democrats rather than ignoring them. But, of course, they have no other options & they're not stupid. Probably be discussing how NOT to handle the next campaign but that's hardly a conspiracy.
