well maybe but that is what most people want. A baby will sleep as much as they need. They will aslo eat when they want/need to. I would just be very happy that your baby sleeps more at night. congrats on the baby.

The best thing you can do is to put you baby on a routine. Babies love routine. In the early weeks it can be a struggle because there is so much baby has to adjust to on 'the outside'. Just keep at it and things will fall into place.

My routine always looked like this - eat - play - sleep. And repeated about every 3 hours. I think it makes for a very happy and content baby.

Young babies such as yours need to sleep when they feel like it. It's a big adjustment for them to be in the world. Be patient.

yes, could be. Better for you (and them) to stay awake during the day and sleep at night. Don't worry just be happy about it.
