There's been no official release date given. I've noticed though that a lot of people are hearing about the original release date for the movie (nov, 2007, originally, now March, 2008), and thinking that was the game release day.
Gamestop put it in their system as game release date of Nov, 2007, but I spoke with a manager at my local Gamestop, and they said it was just a guess, but they needed to put SOMETHING down so they could start taking pre-orders.
If anything, I suspect the release date is going to be kept a surprise until the last minute.. the game is already receiving hype, and I'd guess we're talking about an early-to-mid 2007 release date.
Otherwise, why wouldn't they SAY "late 2007" or "early 2008", or some date that they'd DEFINATELY be done by, and then look like heroes when it's released a few months early? They're totally keeping their lips sealed on this one... They aren't stupid, that's for sure.

Halo 3 is desperate to be released in November of 2007. besides the certainty that the multiplayer public beta attempting out had already all started. you may get the interest in 3 varieties. you may get the time-honored, creditors or mythical version. i do no longer think of it's going to be accessible for the time-honored Xbox.

well I'm not 2 sure maybe round about march, but i can tell u 1 thing there's ganna be 3 version.
version 1 just the normal game.
version 2 limited edition, metal tin and extras.
version 3 legendary edition comes in a metal tin and a replica or the mask. (not 2 sure if its fall scale and wearable or just ornamental)

The supposed date so far is November 1, 2007 but it could be moved back even more. :-(

i wouldnt trust any release date i hear now. they rarely come out when they say they will. if i had to guess, id say this summer.
