Not trying to be nasty or anything but does prenatel vitamins change the color of your bowel movements?

Sometimes they do. I know iron pills will!

You did not mention the color(not trying to be nasty either), but some foods and medicine will do that. However, if the color of your bowel movements is black then get to your doctor as soon as you can. Black stool means you may be bleeding internally somewhere.

They can, temporarily at least, but as a result of absorption issues and not the color of the vitamin itself. A lot of woman have issues with constipation after beginning to take them - food starts sitting around longer in the intestines and there isn't as much water to flush the toxins through.

Yes they can. They can even change the color of your urine. They are packed FULL of vitamins. Vitamins normally change the color and texture of your excreations ;-)

Depending on what kind you use, they can make you constipated. Not sure about the color though. I am taking some right now and nothing color-wise has changed. :-)

Yes! It was actuallywritten in with the side effects and instructions when I picked mine up from the pharmacy.

I never had a problem, but a nurse did tell me sometimes it can make your BM really dark in color.
