Is a PC with a Celeron-D processor okay for music production?

i would rather recomend at least an intel processor with HT tech ( at least ! ). i had a bad experiance with Celeron processors they only work good with data processing and nothing to do with applications and multimedia

I had a Celeron processor once and while I didn't know that much about it, it did the job pretty ok. Then, I bought a Pentium 4...and wow!!! what a difference. So, my personal opinion, a Celeron probably isn't the best thing for music production
