I would rather see them lose 4 - 0 to any premiership team rather than Chelsea. Well Manchester or Liverpool preferably. What a hammering they took - their worst loss out of the only two games they have lost so far this year.

After Our Great Run As Well

It was a bad result but on the cards. Chelsea would have been determined to put in a good performance after losing to Spurs at the weekend and also to be on their best behaviour. Better it happened in the Cup rather than in the league. Bear in mind also that Barry could not play the second half and he is the best player we have.Occasionally if a team is doing well a defeat does them good. It keeps their feet on the ground and also gives the manager food for thought. It is no disgrace to lose to a team such as Chelsea when they perform to their capabilities. I am sure O'Neill will get them fired back up for the weekend.

dropping away to Villa is not any shame. upsetting yet no shame and that's the variety wherein Liverpool lost that fuels the guy Utd followers sarcasm. Sunderland away isn't an common interest yet incredibly greater user-friendly than Villa away and Liverpool could assume to income 3 factors no matter what friek purpose Sunderland scored.

I wish I knew why you hate Chelsea so much, after all they are the previous premiership champions and they did demostrate that Aston Villa are still behind the big guns, nonetheless, they ain't doing badly in the league either.

not really a villa fan but im a fan of martin o'neill and i hope he does a gr8 job so i was gutted that chelsea did that to them.
tho i dont really like chelsea but if i had to choose a team to get thrashed like that itd be them, least it was the champions who did it to them and not the team who's sitting at the bottom of the coca cla league. *cough* southend V man u *cough* lmao

It does not suprise me at all. That is what we expect after Chelski had been beaten by a poor Tottenham side. They were angry. I too would not want them to win but I knew they were to win a great deal coz the defeat was a pain in their butts.
