Skin type has nothing to do with it.

how can you possible think that every single person with light skin has any one thing in common? why would skin color have anything to do with it? No one person is the same as another person, so you can't group everyone into a category. Some light skinned ppl are stuck up, but so are some dark and olive skinned people. there is no correlation between attitude and skin. you are just looking for a group of ppl to blame for how you feel.

No. Generall they're a little more soft spoken, very down to earth or just plain nice.

You know who IS stuck up though? And believe me, I used to live in CT with all the tanning salon addicts...Light skinned people that want dark, very tanned skin. They're so high maintenance that when someone or something is simple they have a cow because they cannot comprehend the idea of being simple.

Where do you get THAT from????I think that you get it from alot of people saying it around you.....EVERYBODY thinks that about me...they say I'm not "black enough" to be considered black, just because I'm light...but both of my parents are black, and i have hazel eyes, and growing up alot of darker girls didn't like me because i was pretty.I think that that's sooooooo stupid!!!!!I'm no where near the term ghetto either...my mother taught me to speak proper English, and so i had extra slack from my race saying that i talk "white",which isn't true either.....I hold my head high,if i don't who will???After alot of people meet me alot of times they say,"i thought that you were not going to be this cool of a person!",and I'm stuck with the whole light skin people are stuck up theory once again!!!!!Alot of people often say that light skin people are more accepted the white race, because they're closer in color,so that brings hatred once again.I just wish people would forget the whole light skin thing, its not right!!!

Some people of all skin colors are stuck up. The color of a person's skin has NOTHING to do with being stuck up.

I wouldnt say light skinned people are stuck up..but alot of asians/afro/cara and alot of far east asians have a desire to be lighter than their fellows.-So sometimes, when an asian girl is light-she might feel more superior to her darker counterpart.

but in terms of white people..i would never say theyr were stuck up!! they love brown skin alot of the time...

?????????
I'm guessing that this is in reference to light-skinned Black persons (correct me if I'm wrong) but as a light-skinned person, I'm not stuck up and I've met only a few that are. I don't let people's personal issues bother me, though. Life's too short for that.

Do you mean white people? It depends on the person.. There are stuck up people in every race. But people do tend to generalize white people as being very arrogant and full of themselves. Some are, some aren't...

There is always going to be someone from a certain racial or ethnic group that is "stuck up", but that certainly doesn't mean that everyone is just like that because of their skin color.
