If you used one, what what the sex of your baby? I am doing a little survey on this!

I am just wanting to know what the sex is... and I think it does make a difference since it puts you closer to your ovulation which usually comes out a boy.

I think the other answerer mis-understood your question.

Anyways, my husband and i tried for about 1 year to get pregnant the second time around, and we used an ovulation test, which helped us get pregnant. We had a boy.

I agree with you too. Ovulation tests can help determine if you have a boy or girl. The reason is because having sex on or very close to your ovulation day increases you chances for a boy, because the man's sperm that makes a boy is stronger and faster, getting to the egg first. If you have sex before your ovulation day, you are more likely to have a girl because the man's sperm that makes a girl is slower, but lives longer, and the time you ovulate, all the male sperm would have died off leaving only the female sperm.

I think more people would probably have a boy, because as soon as the test says they are ovulating, they try to get pregnant.

An ovulation test doesn't get you pregnant, silly, it only tells you when the best time to have sex is to result in pregnancy. But then I think you know this.

I used an ovulation test and got pregnant on the first try, but I don't know what the gender of the baby is yet b/c I am only 16 weeks along. I seriously doubt there will be any difference in the gender based on using an ovulation test. Why would knowing when one ovulates cause a difference in baby's sex?

I used ovualtion kits to help concieve the desired sex I was wanting. It worked. I have a girl and a boy. Boy sperm swim fastest but die the fastest too. You want to have sex the instant you ovulate for a boy baby. Girl sperm swim slower but live longer so to conceive a girl baby you need to have sex towards the end of your ovualtion. I don't know if this will work for you, but it worked for me. I think though too, it is more than just using the test. A woman has really got to be intune with her body. Best of luck to you!
