buy a pack of postit notes and put little notes around the house. Not just I love you but a few silly ones maybe just a smiley face maybe mention a special time the two of you had leave them in the house in the car wherever she might see them unexpectedly.

Its not about how much you spend, but the effort you put in.
Call her at work and just tell her you love her. Then send her an ecard/coupon that states. You are herby releived all all responsiblities for the evening.
That means, you set out her PJ's (comfy ones, nothing sexy) and let her change. Tuck her into bed or on the couch to relax and watch TV/Movie (give her quick Kiss)
You then do all of the chores around the house, and I mean everything. Lunches, dinner, laundry, walk the dog, cleaning and most of all. Wait on her hand an foot. Keep your cell on you, tell her to call it if she needs anything.
Then, at bed time, tell her she can have anything she wants. Cuddles, sleep, massage what ever. Most of all, you don't expect a thanks, sex, loving. She is free from any and all expectation of reciprication. You do it just because.
Make her feel special, loved, supported and like a queen that she is to you. An added bonus, go on line and find or go out and buy a Certificiate that says #1 Wife and give it to her.
It is not about the money, money is the easy way. Doing it with style, thought and creativity is what makes her feel special.

This works best if you live in an apartment complex with lots of neighbors, but it will work well anywhere you live. Stand outside her window with a guitar that you can not play, if you can play guitar, get a sax... Sing to her from the front yard, pick a romantic song she really likes... It does not matter if you butcher the song and can not play, just sing your heart out to her...She may tell you to knock it off and get back in the house, but she will be smiling when you do come inside...Shoot, walk in the door strumming the guitar and still singing with a big smile on your face. This really works well if you stink at singing like I do, because then they know it is nothing but love making you do it... Just do not get offended when she laughs at your singing, that is the whole point, right?

As soon as you get home, put everything else aside. Grab her in your arms and tell her that you love her and everything is gonna be alright. Ask her to talk to you, and you listen. Go into the bedroom and look at her while she's talking to you, understand what she's saying. Comfort her in a non sexual way. Offer suggestions of how to fix what's wrong. Be genuine and tough at the same time. Hold her until she's ready to be released. It doesn't take money to cheer someone up , just alot of love and listening, and of course your strong arms around her. Good luck

Cook a nice dinner for her. Get a bottle of wine it doesn't have to be expensive wine. get a dark wine in fact.
lite candles at dinner.
After dinner fill her up a nice bubble bath...get in with her bring the candles with you or have some lit around the tub.
After the bath give her a nice back massage with oil of lotion to relax.
Maybe get a nice movie for you to watch afterwards as well too.
The thought that you have planned out a special evening like that alone will help her feel better. Especially knowing you put thought into it.
goodluck
you are a great guy i wish i had someone more like u

Do the dishes without her asking for your help... or just do them together! That is a plus! Help her with the kids, housework,& then just spend some quality time watching a movie together... When there is some alone time... do some dancing and romancing! ;)
