It costs to get the space. I am not sure how much they charge. Some places will charge you a fee plus want a percentage of what you bring in. A pretty scummy practice, if you ask me.
Besides that, you have to get merchandise to sell. Also you need to make sure you have all of the needed licenses, certificates, and inspections and so forth. A lot of people get by without doing the sales tax, but when you get nabbed on it, it will hurt.
