how can i get my husband to have more of a "back bone". ?

feel like i should have been the husband and him the wife. well, i am not a husband and wanna keep it that way.

Get him the following books:

No More Mr. Nice Guy! Dr. Robert A Glover
The Way of the Superior Man - David Deida.

Explain to him that you appreciate him being a nice guy, but that as a woman, you need for him to be more of a nice _man_.
