your grandma has to go to her bank with your bank details to arrange transfers

Give her the bank's name, address, location and other pertinent information. Also, her bank will need your bank's routing number. That is the other number at the bottom of your check that is NOT your bank account number. She will also need your account number. Usually a blank deposit slip from your check book will do nicely for her bank. If all else fails, fax her a blank check that has been voided. Then she can take it to the bank and the tellers will do the rest. Simple to do, fast and reliable.

you will need your account and routing numbers (from the bottom of your check). If you give her those, she should be able to have the money wired to your account

wiring instructions. Get them from your bank and fax them to her. Her bank will do the rest.
