I just asked a question( What is your favourite film of all time?) It didn't get published at all although it's in 'my q&a' and I got docked 5 points. Has this happened to other people and do you know why? And how do you contact Yahoo to ask?

I've just answered it for you...it shows up in your questions..it didn't have any answers though, mine was the first answer. Maybe a lot of questions were posted around the same time and shoved yours down the list. It does happen...anyhoo...BYEEE for now !!!

Yes it has happened to me and I've noticed that it has happend to other folk. I think it must have something to do with the submit button failing to work properly. You can contact Yahoo but don't bank on getting a reply.
Try posting it again only rearranging the words a little so as not to get penalised for posting the same question twice.

They pick them at random to go on the front page, too many questions at once. Everyone gets charged 5 points for asking a question, answer 3 back and you'll get 6 points back. This is all normal, read the rules.

I guess its that you previewed the question, but didnt press submit. Other than that, your internet maybe down or something like that. Just try again, and answer more q's. Hey, you posted this question! I guess you contact yahoo by faqs or support. Go to yahoo.com and type in your issue - it might work!

It happened to me at least 10 times ( they were not reported) just sitting there in my questions without ever appearing. I delete them few days later.
I don't know why that happens but may be it is a simple error by yahoo!

i posted a question and nobody answered it so I lost points because I deleted it. It was posted for 5 days not a single answer.

Its happened to me 2 Times, I didnt notice if it took my points but it didnt even add to my q&a maybe there about to go on another "coffee break"

Somebody probably reported it. I emailed yahoo about doing weid things like this to my answers, and they actually took it seriously. maybe they'll improve the system.
