Marriage is what you make of it. If you have many debts, then don't get married until you have repaid them all or most of them. If you don't have many debts or none at all but cannot afford a "nice" wedding don't worry about it, marriage is what you make of it and later on in life you and your spouse will make it up.

Do not try to live as other people, try to live as you - what YOU can afford. Be humble and be proud.
