Definitely looking forward to reason to wear my sweaters, gloves & hats. Reasons to cuddle up with someone, drink hot chocolate & watch a movie. Reasons to give the ones you love a gift to remind them of the love Jesus has for the world. Reasons to give them a gift to let them know you care b/c you don't take the time out to do it throughout the year. Keeping traditions alive while making new memories ... can't wait.

p.s. Here's a tip for those of you who hate the long lines during Christmas shopping time. Bring a small book or a magazine you've been wanting to read. Read while you're standing in line, sooner than you realize you will be in the front of the line. You'll be in a good mood still too, while everyone else is grumpy. If you don't read play a game on your cell phone or something.

Freezing weather..no Blowing money..deff. not
I am looking forward to the holidays with my family though. However, I have stopped spending a fortune on Christmas gifts and therefore cut down on my stress two fold(no more running around like a crazy person looking for that "perfect" gift or that "lil something extra") I buy them all something nice but reasonable and tell them i love them. I encourage them to do the same for me. No more crying about money problems till the next July..best Christmas present they can give me or i can give them!

Dragon is excited for singing Holiday carols. She likes singing them. She will sing them all year round, except people kinda stare at her as she's waiting for the bus on the hottest day of the year singing White Christmas...

Yeah, it thrills me about as much as the time I had a seriously abyssed molar, along with the worst case of diarrhea I've ever had in my life.

Yeah, what a hoot!

We are opposite here, we usually have stinking hot Christmas days.

All the better to drink the extremely strong rocket fuel my sister calls PUNCH!

So expensive, although this is the first year my 2-year old can open gifts. She will make it all worth it. But I have no idea how I am going to afford it. Yikes.

Not me. I could quite happily skip the whole nonsense and just celebrate the religious holiday, not the money changers!
