There's a really funny play about a kindergarten teacher called "Chicks" but I can't for the life of me remember the playwright's name right now.

There. That's a wide range of different characters. And I have to agree with the girl who suggested The Vagina Monologues ~ every woman should read them.

Check out Monologue Search @ http://www.monologuesearch.com
We are developing an expansive database that you can search by age, comic/dramatic, classic/contemporary, etc. We are still developing our different age groups but there are quite a few monologues categorized in the 20s age range. Please stop by and take a look. Feel free free to drop us a line if you can't find something to your liking!
All the best!

There is a fabulous little script called "A My name is Alice."
There are a bunch of different scenes, many with music. But there is a monologue in there by a young woman who just broke up with her boyfriend and finds his jockstrap in the washing machine.
Absolutley hysterical.

If you like musicals, try "Over The Moon" from Rent. You must be willing to be hyper and exagerate all the actions, though.
