Try setting your oven to 460º F and put a piece of paper in it and see if it burns.
Moreover, books burn at much hotter than 451º F.

It may be fiction but if its in print people will succumb to it.
I mean it was a catchy title. BTW-cool avatar.....rooks (ravens) are 1st class psychopomps(fore-tellers of the supernatural) :)
