Things like phones and regular clothing are nothing to find, but where could I go to obtain items such as replica costumes or armaments, or squibs? Or the makeup necessary for scars and the like? Just post your prop-hunting links at me if you got 'em.

Stores that sell make-up kits for Halloween probably have some left over that didn't sell, for scars.

Unfortunately, props are a tedious hours of hunting and building type of thing. It really does involve hours of digging through yard sales, second hand stores, and websites or just breaking down and making your own. This is why movies and theatres have departments dedicated to props.

There is a costume shop on the main street in Bloomsburg PA that sells costumes to people who make movies. Sorry but I don't know the stores name? I saw some props sold on E-bay.

Try borrowing them from your local civic theater.
