I had pre-eclampsia with my first pregnancy, pregnancy induced hypertension with my second, and pre-eclampsia again with my third. With my third, my blood pressure began to rise very early. All of the information I read said that you can't get pregnancy induced hypertension or pre-eclampsia before 20 weeks, but I did not have high blood pressure before the pregnancies.

When I was about three months pregnant, my doctor put me on Aldomet, a blood pressure medication that is "safe" during pregnancy. I took that for a few months, slowly increasing the dosage (my blood pressure never went down, only up). I was also on leave from work, and I spent most days on the couch. I bought one of those at-home blood pressure cuffs, and I monitored my blood pressure during the day. My doctor said if it went above 140/90 to call. In my seventh month, Atenolol was added because the Aldomet no longer worked on its own. I was able to carry my baby to 38 weeks, at which time I had protein in my urine and was induced.

She is perfectly healthy. For about four weeks after the birth, I still had slightly high blood pressure and lots of swelling, but it's better now. Ask your doctor about medicines that are safe during pregnancy, and GOOD LUCK!

So she is approximately 29/30 weeks pregnant? It does not subject what sanatorium or health care professional, as soon as the child reaches 25 weeks, whether it is born, they must do the whole thing they are able to to avoid wasting the child. Survival price is going up as soon as the child reaches the thirtieth week, however that does not imply the child is within the reliable zone. By 29 to 30 weeks, a developing child has matured plenty. Premature toddlers born among 29 and 30 weeks will nonetheless require lengthy NICU remains, however their relevant organs are a lot more constructed than the ones of toddlers born previous. By 29 to 30 weeks, untimely toddlers weigh approximately three kilos and are approximately 17 inches lengthy. Although they are nonetheless very small, 29 weekers and 30 weekers have extra fats saved beneath their epidermis, so that they appear extra like "truly" toddlers. They are beginning to shed their lanugo, the high-quality hair that covers a preemie's frame. In addition to all of this external adulthood, the mind is going via a interval of quick development as good. The brains of 29- and 30-week untimely toddlers are beginning to appear grooved and wrinkled, and are mature sufficient to start controlling frame temperature.

I have always had pregnancy induced hypertenstion. I am pregnant with my 4th baby and have it once again. Usually in your second trimester it will go down and then up again in the 3rd. Nothing dramatic has every come of mine, but they do need ot watch you for preeclampsia. Try not to worry too much. At home when you can lay on your left side and that helps slighty to lower it.

It could just be high because you are nervous or stressed. I think it's too early to be a sign of preeclampsia, it's probably because of nerves or stress. Have the nurse check it again towards the end of your appointment when you're more relaxed
