We can seek an answer to the question - what is a chair? The answer will never be perfectly answered as the perfect answer to this question is the chair by itself and nothing else in the entire wide world - a perfect answer is to finish a question forever. All the answers to this question will be partial and incomplete. Some will try to describe a chair in words; other will place a picture of a chair as an answer. A chair in fact in the chair, an abstract concept conceived in the mind first of all, and then that ethereal concept assumed numerous shapes and forms but with only one common identifiable purpose. And that common purpose identifier is human mind. The result is that nothing can be defined entirely and absolutely. All things are variants of other things. All things are in a state of gradual transitive state. And the entire physical world is a transformation. The only thing that is observable in this world is our opinions views and purposes.
We can ask a question – who are we, or who am I? We can seek out numerous answers to this all important question. But there will be as many answers as many there are people in the world and again there will be as many answers for each person as many are the moment in a person’s life. A momentary contemplation can lead us to recognition that Life is not a question but an answer in it self to all the questions that our temporal existence can conceive. But we always question what suppose to be our answers. Similarly all things of life are part of one question – who am I? There answer cannot be formulated. The life is to be lived fully, realised completely by actually experiencing it. Then all that will be left will be the answer to your question.

I am different to every person I know or have met or will meet so there for I am defined by each person differently. I am who I am and I continue to change with every moment that I live so defining myself could be a lie the very next min. I do not ask myself " who am I " .
I could tell you about myself -my height , hair color, my interests , my life experiences and i could tell you even more things but would you ever really know who I am ?

There's no adequate way to answer the question. We have spent our whole lives getting to this point so it would take that long to really explain.
The question,"Who am I?",can only be answered internally. No matter how many times we try, because of the limitations of speech,we still feel alone and misunderstood.

who am i? is a question we all ask ourselves. there was also another question, originally penned by a french philosopher, rene decartes: 'i think therefore i am', that has some resonance to 'who am i?' and which was similar in many respects. for me personally, the way i define who am i or the other way round, who i am, i put that down to me as an individual as the actions-verbal and physical- and the views i have. what i say and do, how i think and act i would say pretty much defines me as a person. although who am i, in a way attempts to question my motives, actions and intentions and goes on ask what had led me to act, think and behave in that way and for me to reflect upon those motives and actions, as well as the purpose of life itself.

You know who you are..sort of.
The difficulty is making a precis of you so that you can understand you and if you want to share it to let others know who you are.
This has to be done with total honesty and without fear of reprisals.
Bones and all.
What do you love What do you hate start with material things and then move onto more deeper things...like sexuality...discrimination....religion...etc.
You may be surprised that you are more than you thought

You know who you are...What defines you as a person. Most people define themselves by what they do, what they have done, and by what they will do later. You are more then that. Sounds like you are on a path of self discovery. Good luck and I hope you find out who you are and what you are made of.

I am the outcome of the total sum of my mother's denial. Beyond that i could write a book on it. The question is very meaningful for therapists cause it ensures them a reason for them being who they are.

I am this little point of consciousness that is observing the world. All the rest: name, history, likes and dislikes are like clothes, they are nothing permanent. But this little point of consciousness is very important. For me, this is the place where "I Am" is forever united with "All That Is". Or rather: "I Am" = "All That Is".

this should be a very easy questions for any human to answer, but since we are disconnected from ourselves, most of us know nothing about ourselves... its sad... every thought and act in ones life should be exclusively to learn more about ones self, so you can be totally self aware.... what a feeling.
