The light is constantly shining on the earth. As the earth spins less and less light hits the earth and therefore the light starts to fade. As the earth continues to spin round less and less light is hitting until there is no light hitting it and therefore it is dark.

My conclusion would be - seeing that darkness is always present, you just dont see it for light. The darkness is always there and only goes away when the light shines. There the darkness doesnt come because it is always there. Its simply the light that leaves.

Im not sure if ive explained this properly, i know what i mean im just not the best at putting it into words. Hope i have been of help

The lightness goes for sure. If it gets dark at night it is because the sun has gone over the horizon so therefore the 'light has gone'.

Darkness is the natural state of the universe. Light can either come or go from this darkness.

This is very similar to the human psyche. It's natural state is darkness and light can either come or go.

Light comes from a source, darkness just exists as a natural state. So the light goes.

The light goes, darkness is simply an absence of light.

Darkness is the absence of light, therefore the light goes.

The darkness doesn't get excited ( so doesn't come) so I think the light goes.

In reality light comes as the earth rotates. Darkness is always there if you want to think of it that way!!!

both, its either way you look at it. When it gets dark where you are it gets light somewhere else. When your glass gets half empty your stomach gets half full. lol
