I recently had an operation on my mouth to remove scar tissue from the inside of my bottom lip and now i have stitches that will fall out on their own, but how do i make the swelling go down? and FAST becasue i have a dance to go to tomorrow!!!!

ICE..keep the ice on it for a while trust it works FAST

Ice for about 15 to 20 minutes at A time.

it won't go down that fast, try putting ice on it, 5 minutes on, 5 off for 20 minutes. you can also speed up the healing by brewing some tea, let it set until its warm not hot and hold it in your mouth. the tannic acids help heal and the warmth makes it feel better. this is also great when you have had to be numbed it makes the numbness and pain go away a lot quicker.

Advil is good for inflammation. So is Aleve. Use ice locally to help the process go faster.

ice works and you can get an anti inflammatory like aspirin anywhere

you need some condrotin and some MSM in your diet, there things body builders and people with arthtectic conditions take, however it will redct inflamation and swelling and pain!!!

icing it is really all you can do... you can not force the healing .
