Hey do u really need an scientific explanation to that. I dont think so. In my opinion if there was someone in the world who could really produce butterflies out of thin air,or read minds or raise dead flies, he wouldn't be on a TV show, he'd be in a laboratory somewhere being studied. So please dont think that it is an really an magic. Its an t.v show. it also has its share of retakes and re-recordings. He just guesses a number and telecasts it if really its right. U can check the following website for an explanation for his various street magic tricks. I think its time that people should know david blaine for his endurance tricks rather than magic tricks. And regarding the levitation trick its an very cleverly planned vision angle trick. Lift one leg which is towards the viewer and then rise urself on the opposite edge. due to the angle the person cannot see the inclination of the trick. Its an actual fact. nice question though. got an oppurtunity to share my knowledge.

David Blaine, the American magician, is known for his stunts and tricks of magic. It is a well known fact that magicians use sleight of hand, special gadgets and contraptions and specially trained assistants to perform feats of magic. There is no instance available of somebody being able to read others' minds, although it is believed that some magicians hypnotise their subjects to follow their instructions subconsciously. Some magicians develop the skill of speaking without moving their lips or making any noticeable throat movement to pass instruction to their trained subjects. In short, Science does not believe magic to be a supernatural phenomenon.

There are people who can read mind, predict event and do other ammaging things that is unexplainable but the betting averages are low.

When some one hit it home every time I am inclined to believe it is a tricks, I may not be able to decyphare the trick but I am certain that there is more to it.

I can myself predict things and read the mind but not all the time and when I do it I am not sure untill it is over.
