I would not dwell on it too much. It is not your fault that she cannot keep up with you. It is common for a woman to procrastinate. Bad luck? No. Time travel? No. Form of ESP? Yes, because next time you will have a pretty good idea of what will happen ahead of time.

Now you know it is both. On a more serious note it can be a sign of diabetes or high blood pressure or other disease processes. It can also lead to a premature end of your sex life.
