What are they trying to say.You will only drive considerately when you see this sign- insulting. I am more important as I have a baby - arrogant. If you are white-van-man you will take no notice of it anyway so as well as being arrogant and insulting they are also redundant.

particular properly i'm undecided that I comprehend your gripe. i might have thought that any indication of a effective shipment aboard, might point out that due care of interest would desire to be taken while coming near that vehicle. much extra so if the guy driving in front is driving at a velocity this is possibly to reason frustration. in this occasion is it possibly that the driving force of the motor vehicle following will blast their vehicle horn, and verify out and overtake, because of the fact of their own frustration. Frustration can deliver approximately street rage that's a recipe for disaster, yet persistence is a distinctive function do no longer you think of? i'm particular you're the two a secure driving force and considerate driving force so it is going to it make any distinction to notwithstanding if there's a infant on board on the coolest 2d you stumble upon the vehicle. The state of affairs would be that there has been a infant on board some part of the day or nighttime. Realistically do you anticipate somebody to maintain removing the sticky label on your income. No! of direction no longer, you're only rattled on the 2d so flow and take a Siesta or have a baby then you definately will comprehend extra completely the reason of those stickers. yet another Edit: a number of you have unusual ideas. perchance the baby on board stickers are distinctive interior the States than there are interior the united kingdom. Ours are unobtrusive yet good sized to different street purchasers. sounds like those interior the States are huge.

As I understand it, these signs were originated 'in case of an accident' - then rescuers would know about their being a child somewhere about. However, when parents remove the child but not the sign, it then devalues the usefulness of it.

It's on a par with drivers who ALWAYS have their fog lights on too ~ blinding me as a driver, pedestrian or cyclist. I HATE the indifference and / or arrogance of the brain-deadness of it.

I worked in a hospital which had fire alarms that would occasionally go off (through an untraced fault) and we'd call the Fire Brigade. Ok, we were fairly sure it was a false alarm, but - is it!

There were mornings when I stood at the window and watched people enter what to all the signs indicated, was a burning building (because of the Bell Ringing), instead of awaiting an all clear.

It may well be a 'False Alarm,' and 'it may not be.'

The problem is one of 'complacency' - of which as a driver, I'm guilty of too ~ though I do pride myself on the occasional 'complacency and arrogance check.'

Sash.

These stickers are a waste of space. I am not in the habit of driving too closely to the person in front and neither should anyone else.
If the driver is prone to being distracted by babies or children in the car he/she shouldn't be behind the wheel any way. Take the bus - they are quite buggy/pram friendly these days. If the stickers were removed the driver would have better visibility out of the car than if they stick great big stickers on the rear window.

well i thought the whole ides was for other drivers to back off the **** of your car. they are a good idea, someone once went into the back of our car (we didnt have one), but when the bloke pulled over and saw the car seat and baby, he nearly had a heart attack, im just wondering if we did have the sign, would he have been so close in the first place!
another reason i believe is because everyone wants to show off and say they have kids lol

Yep. They're almost as annoying as those suction cup footed Garfield cats but no nearly as bad as people who insist on talking on their cell phone while driving. What did they do before there were cell phones? Stay home all day so they could yack their heads off? Will taking away their phones keep them home? That's a great thought. It would get a lot of idiots off the road.

I dont have one but I do know some people do it to identify in case of a wreck ect.... I say this becuase my husband cleans up train wrecks, and they have dealt with these issues!
Just like the fire decal stickers some people put on their house windows that have a pic of a dog, cat, bird ect......so emergency personel know that these things are in side!

I also dont think its an arrogance type issue I think some people are just proud momma's and poppa's and its like an annoncment of sorts, just becuase well......their proud!

Mine is those sily horsey horsey buffins who put stickers on the back of their car's window saying, I luv horses or caution slow down for horses. While I am on about these silly snooty folk, their horses poop on the road and their owners don't pick it up yet if I dropped a piece of litter I would get nicked.

Couldn't stand the things until I realised that sooner or later the idiot who stuck the thing in the car will have to listen to either screaming babies, arguing kids and endless nursery rhymes on the cd player. Now I simply feel terribly, terribly smug when I see them.

Nope, you are not alone. There is an ever growing army of people just waiting for the right time to add their own daft sign saying: "I dont care what you have in your car, it still needs washing".
Must admit, amazed I have not seen one on a supermarket trolley or baby buggy in town yet. And no, that ISNT a prompt to do so.
