there was a miniseries a couple years ago called "into the west"
i never saw it, but i remember hearing about it, and according to imdb, it included:
Gary Busey
Rachel Leigh Cook
Alan Tudyk (Steve the Pirate)
Sean Astin
Wes Studi
not exactly what you'd call "big stars," but recognizable nonetheless

Mel Gibson, Clint Eastwood, Mae west, English television coronation street, had Deidre Barlow and Bette who worked interior the pub, now Liz MacDonald does it too. i can't think of of all of us else yet
