Sure, peak concerns to a special extent. In case you are enjoying basketball, regardless of how a lot just right you're at it, however first you have to get selected to play in a workforce. The basic thing which the selectors see is your height and your defence. Due to the fact that you are a lady, your peak should be around 5.5 or 5.6 ft or extra. For a man it will have to be above 5.Eight toes. I could now not play baket ball at my university most effective given that my height was short. I am hoping it helps. Good luck!!

Unfortuantely, that is only an urban myth. I thought by playing basketball it would increase my height, but I don't think I got any taller by playing it. The factors that determines your height are your genetics and the nutrition that you take in.
The misconception of playing basketball would make you taller probably came good basketball players are usually taller. Though the avg. height of a basketball team may not be the tallest of all team sport, but still, the avg. is still higher than most team sports. Also, I get this alot from parents, parents encourage their kids to play basketball by telling them they would grow taller. Parents do this because either they were mis-informed or/and they want to push their kids to play some sports.
Nonetheless, basketball is still a great sport to play and I'm glad I've picked up basketball as my sport of enjoyment for the last 15 years.
