It could be your uterus pushing on your sacral nerve. Make an appointment with a chiropractor. It really helped me a lot! It did take 5-7 adjustments to take care of it at first, but it made a huge difference. After that, I just went in for adjustments whenever it flared back up and about 8 weeks after I had my baby.

It could be, the way the baby is laying in the pelvis area, is pressing on your "siatic (mis spelled I'm sure) nerve". That is the nerve that runs from your spinal cord down both legs. It passes through a small hole in your hip bone. You could try laying on your side (the opposite one that you are having pain in) and pull your "painful leg" as close to your chest as possible. Stretching out your hip, just nice and slow movements. It's not an easy thing to do, but it relieves some of the pressure and repositions the baby off of that nerve. After you do that a couple of time, it could give you some relief...you may have to do it several times a day. Hope this helps.

I had the same problem with my first baby. apparently he was lying on the sciatic nerve which is in the back but runs down to the hip. I ended up with crutches cos the pain was so bad and was even uncomfortable when sitting down. I had to finish work & start maternity leave earlier than planned because of it but about a week later the wee bugger moved and I was ok then till I gave birth!
So don't panic, the baby will hopefully move or turn again if you are only 24 weeks

Without a doubt, consult your Dr!!!

But, this could be from the baby positioning itself on something internally that he/she needs to get off of! Lol Unfortunately, there is nothing you can really do about that, unless you try pushing around on our stomach to adjust the baby, which I have seen Dr's do on tv before.

Also, cramps and aches such as this can be a result of poor circulation. So again, check with your Dr, because everyone's situations can be unique in a pregnancy and yo don't want to brush off as nothing on one hand or over react on the other. Better to just KNOW than to guess, or self-diagnose yourself based on the experience of others.

It could be because of the baby is on a nerve. I had the same thing when I was pregnant. Just try to stretch it out and if it continues, ask your doctor! That's what they are there for. It's not a stupid question! I bugged my doctor about every little thing I thought was wrong!

You need to talk to your midwife. your baby could be lying on your nerves, or you could be developing SPD in which the pelvic bones move too far out of position and you end up in lots of pain....
Get a medical opinion as soon as you can, you will feel better when you know exactly what it is.

Sounds like a nerve being pinched, if it's high and toward the front it could be round ligament pain. Check with your Dr.

When you get to the last trimester of your pregnancy, you will feel more pain. As the baby gets bigger, he/she is pushing against you. You'll feel tired, painful and uncomfortable. Next thing you'll know, you're ready to go through labor to get this baby out of you.
