To all thous how are having an affair, may you enjoy all that you do. But one day it will come back to expose you. No they don't own up to the fact that they are having the affair. An yes they would be mortified if they knew about the affairs. It causes a lot of problems.

Yes felt awfully guilty. Worked for me for a while because relationship I was in was awful but I couldn't see a way out of it but needed some affection/attention from somebody. The affair ended because I felt so guilty and I realised I had to tackle the underlying problem which was my relationship with my other half. I did own up to my friends about the affair. no they weren't horrified, sadly a lot of them were trapped in loveless relationships too and could totally sympathise with my predicament.

i think that women most of the time end up feeling worse then we do after they cheat on us. i enjoyed all these reads and just found out my wife has 2 boyfriends, supposedly no physical, from huge cell phone bills with all the calls. girls tell your man your feelings we will handle it better then finding out and literally going insane. poor guy in jail probably would have had a life without murder.thank you to the girl who broke it off with the married guy. society needs that. these chumps were calling my wife minutes after i left for work but would never face me or at least give our family an ounce of respect.oh and the friends do know, you are the one who didn't.

the reason for the affair usually determines whether u own up to it . Sexual needs can be very easy to give in to no I would not feel guilty about it

I think anyone who has an affair, or cheats on their significant other has to feel guilty. Whether or not they tell anyone, I'm sure there's a level of guilt there. If there isn't, then I don't think that person is human.

I can never understand why women have affairs with married men - if the men will cheat on his wife or girlfriend then surely they will have no problem cheating on the next woman as well. I would never and would NEVER tolorate it from my husband

I don't think they feel as guilty as the men. My wife doesn't anyway and no she still has not owned up to it, despite the evidence. I guess it is because she feels they are "Just Friends" and this helps curb the guilt.
