How can I tell if I'm being conned? A seller from the UK offered me a too-good-to-be-true deal on a car and says that I must go through YAHOO finance for the transaction. How can I tell if I'm being conned? His Yahoo addrerss is: andrew.bvt75@yahoo.com. He lives in the U.K. , says that I need to submit payment from Westenn Union to YAHOO! finance and that Yahoo Finance verifies the payment. The seller then ships the merchandise & submits tracking information. Yahoo Finance then verifies that the buyer recieves the shipment. The buyer then has the option to accept or reject the merchandise. Yahoo Finance then pays the seller by cashier's check, Western Union, Money Gram or wire transfer. The transaction would then be complete. How can I find out if all of this is legit?
