I was looking into using a casting agency by the the name of InstantCast...and im wondering whether or not it is a scam. Does anyone know about it? It seems odd that they dont ask much about your acting skills but they ask your credit card number...

call the better business bureau. and if you have feelings of being weary ..go with your gut instinct . it always pays off. GOOD LUCK. maybe you should look into other various agencies on the internet and check their references. annother way to find out if it is a fraud is to ask this company for references and for their business license number so you can check them out. if they are glad to then it is all good if not... beware...or if they beat around the bush...so to speak.

why is a casting agent asking for a credit card money.

they're supposed to GET you money, not TAKE it from you.

sounds very fly-by-night to me.
